Grilling Vegetables stove top

After some web based research into grilling vegetables on a stove top, I bought this Emerilware from Amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/Emerilware-Enamel-Single-Reversible-Griddle/dp/B000SZO5IK/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1304710402&sr=8-4

This grill is so much cheaper than similar grills from Sur La Table, and one of the only single burner grills on the market.

My marinade was made of olive oil, salt, honey, hot sauce, lime juice in proportions that are to taste. I used asparagus spears, zucchinis, yellow squash, green and red bell peppers, onions in the marinade, and grilled tomatoes, pineapple without the marinade.

Every vegetable came out perfectly grilled. I removed the unused vegetables from the marinade and stored them in the refrigerator, and the following day, could eat them straight out of the fridge and did not need to cook them.

The children loved it and this is very likely to become a summer activity.

It takes a lot more time to get 'x' amount of food on the table while grilling... that is the only reason it will remain a weekend activity.
